Historical Background

 Built in 1913, Széchenyi was designed by architect Győző Czigler in Neo-Baroque style. Expanded in the 1920s, the complex underwent modern renovations while retaining its historic charm.

Thermal Water and Healing Properties
The thermal water comes from a deep spring, reaching 74°C (165°F), cooling to 27°C–38°C (80°F–100°F). Rich in minerals, it’s known for helping with joint pain, arthritis, and circulation issues.

Facilities and Attractions
Széchenyi offers 18 pools, including outdoor whirlpools and a famous “water chess” pool. The spa also includes saunas, steam rooms, and luxury treatments like massages and facials.
